Default Stump Puller

Any of you braid fishermen have a specialized stump puller?

A lot of the guys around here have a piece of one inch dowl rod or a section
of and old shovel handle with a couple wraps of duct tape in the middle for
those snags that just won't come loose. Just wrap it around the middle
section four or five times and use it as a handle to pull it loose.

Fishing 50LB PP I have lifted some huge logs off the bottom, and I have
straightened out Gamakatsu hooks. Just a slow steady pull. I imagine it
would be good for cranks that hang up too, but I haven't been fishing them
on braid all that long yet.

A couple of turns around a cleat and stood on with your shoe, and full
throttle with the trolling motor and the weight of the boat snaps it with no
problem. A 3000 pound boat will break any line there is!
