I seem to recall a time when fishing was actually discussed on this group.
I wish those times would return.

Hi Neil,

Dream on I think .... there was a thread a short while ago about fishing and
one 2 or 3 of us tried to keep going in an orderly manner to hopefully
encourage others to do the same but unlike these off topic posts it was
complained about.

So I guess 'we all' get what we deserve to some extent.

Take a look at this extract as a recent example ....... is it any wonder
people don't talk about fishing here.

Why don't you try starting a fishing thread and see what happens ..... you
may have more luck. Anyway here is what happened to the last one.

Whats you're problem?

Just in case you didn't realise this is a fishing forum, so people talk
about fishing,
WHATS WRONG WITH THAT!

He probably prefers threads like ''Albatross eating mice''.

Of course if a person doesn't want to follow a particular thread that is
easy to do.

Rich,

It's only because it was becoming a bit of a personal diatribe and a "yes
but no but yes but no" match.

I'm all for discussion of fishing and owt' fishing related - and totally
depsise all the other crap that we get on here from the lunatic fringe.

Apologies if I offended you guys, I didn't mean to. Lets talk fish and use
those kill files to take the crap out.

And I've seen none to disprove it.

But if anybody choses to just say the complete opposite ..... or any
variable between ... the same is true ..... so Imo it isn't worth the
cyberspace it occupies.

Completely unfounded indeed.

I was tempted to go for 95% and 5% buying 2% I reckon it's probably
closer.

Well there you sre then you have said it

to the more productive method(s).

Golly ....... I feel an essay coming on ..... so I'll leave you to get on
with those ideas.

I agree it did 'get lost' in the end.

I'm all for discussion of fishing and owt' fishing related - and totally
depsise all the other crap that we get on here from the lunatic fringe.

Agree again.

Apologies if I offended you guys, I didn't mean to. Lets talk fish and use
those kill files to take the crap out.

No problem and I agree again ............. glad we sorted that out.

Like I said in a previous post, the group could do with a moderator (if that
was possible)
