Default O.T Skype

Anyone use this program. Free calling to anyone who has it through your
computer, sorta like an a.i.m, with voice capabilities. I downloaded it and
it seems neat. I found it on the main screen for e-bay

We used it when our daughter was working in Hondouras. It saved us a
fortune in long distance phone charges. But now that ebay owns it those
days are probably over.

From what I understand it will remain free between skype users. It works
amazingly well, all you need is a pc and a microphone to talk with anyone
else who has it. for those of you willing to try it, it also has IM
capabilities. Great way to keep in touch with other ROFB'ers who live in
different states

Can we do three, four, or more way calling? That would be cool.

(Just gotta find that microphone....)

Yes, you can do conference calls with several people in different
locations on line together.

If you are serious about using Skype, get a headset with a microphone.
You can get them for a few bucks. Listening through the computer
speakers and using a microphone can cause feedback problems for you and
ambient noise problems for the person on the other end.

I have used headsets that plug into the computer's sound input/output
ports, USB headsets, and BlueTooth headsets and they all worked fine
with Skype.
