Go to http://www.google.com and type in the following search parameters. speckled trout fishing trip + ontario Hit "search" and you'll find 32,800 choices. Modest to you and modest to me might be two entirely different things. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Thanks for the reply to my previous post. While I am not a
computer wizard, I do know the basics of an internet search. My intention of posting a specific information request here was to elicit a response from similar like minded people that may have (and be willing to share) specific information that they have.. I post because I am trying to be most efficient with my time and effort. Looking through 32000 hits about Brookie fishing where Ontario is mentioned defeats the purpose of using newsgroup. I would suspect that if I searched for Brookie info in the entire geographic area specified in my original post I would get maybe 100,000 hits. |

![]() I know what you mean by the reply you got from Stevy. Dis-information with an attitude is so stupid.Go to the Missanabi game preserve for trout. Look for Chaplue in the Sudbury area of northern Ontario. If you go watch for the bears. The highest concentration in the world. A lady doctor with lots of bear savy was eaten there this august so put that into the eqation too. Bear spray made no difference . I fished it a year earlier and it was good but decided against the trip this summer because of the forementioned . In the area north of sudbury it is good from the highway north to Timmins plus the bears are different because they get shot at .Look for larger rivers flowing fast. Phone the Minisrty of natural resources for that area. Any questions email at ewaring @netscape.net. Bye John wrote: Thanks for the reply to my previous post.
