wind creek state park in alexander city alabama

Plan on heading up to alexander city, alabama saturday morning to check
out wind creek state park for some bass fishing off the docks or
shoreline...

ive never had good luck bass fishing in a lake off the shore or a dock
(prefer river fishing for bass... tallapoosa, cahaba, etc)

any good spots for fishing this time of year for bass around that state
park area?

I would tell you how to change your luck, but people would say I'm
spamming, so I can't tell you how to catch bass nearly every time you
go, (it don't work when the fish are not there, thus it won't work
"every time" the fish have to be there to catch them, so it will just
work MOST of the time,, but I can't tell you :-)

any good spots for fishing this time of year for bass around that state
park area?

The points and the walk bridges.

When I was a kid , I lived at that park every weekend, through out the
summer

I know, just keep doing things that don't work, God forbid you learn a

You want to fish the pilings of the bridges, preferably from the shore,
casting to them

when you say points, you refer to...?

small bodies of land that stick out into the water :-)

When standing on the "point" you have more than 180 degrees of water
around you, although most of the fish will be in the center 30 degrees
from the point your standing on

eh, change of plans...
i love fishing the tallapoosa river, but mean old Jimmie Dozier owns
90% of the shore line around here... and will put you in jail if he
sees you one it.
