What a January Afternoon

Hello all,
I've enjoyed reading all your post for awhile now. Thought I would share my
afternoon fishing story with you all. Today's temp a nice 57, not bad for
central PA in the winter. Water conditions a cool 54 thanks to the numerous
underground feeder springs. My favorite fishing spot jam packed with guys
eager to try out their newly aquired gear. I only managed to land a single
13 inch native brown, but it was well worth the trip to try out my new sage
slt.

Right......if the water was 1200 CFS lower we'd have been "working" at
the secret spot.......or maybe the Y-Pool. Mmmmm...... Landlocks. See

Thanks for the report, it's nice to go fishing if only
vicariously. But brown trout are not native anywhere in
North America. Wild perhaps, but never native.

Yes, you can take the teuton out of the fish, but ...

Very true, wild would be the term I was fishing for. And I work for a
living as well....I just searched around for a job until a found a boss that
was interested in fly fishing too. I don't get any big bonuses, but we do
take alot of "work" related fishing trips.
