Trout fishing in Turkey?

I may be spending some time in Turkey next year. They have mountains; do
they have trout fishing? Does anyone have any info or a link? Thanks.

There was a guy at the local Air Force Base who was sent to Turkey for
a few months, and he claimed to have found some trout. He posted some
trip reports on the VFS board. I think his name was Ken Smith, but its
been a long time so I'm not positive.

I have a friend in Turkey who trout fishies every year in the mountains.
They have a species known as the flathead trout. It looks vaguely
like a brown. they tend to run pretty small, but my buddy got an 18
incher last year. Don't know where he went, but if you email me I will
send you pictures of his catches.
