Driving in to work just a few minutes ago, I found myself behind a bigass
black Chevy Silverado pickup truck with bigass knobby tires and a bigass jacked up suspension. In the lower left corner of the rear window was a NASCAR sticker. In the lower right corner was a USMC sticker. And, suspended from the bigass trailer hitch was......wait for it......a small (or improbably large.....depends on how one looks at it) tan colored sack, presumably made from a nylon stocking or at least the same material, containing two spherical objects about the size of golf balls. Wolfgang for whom the fact that so MANY people have absolutely NO idea of what they are saying is a never ending source of amazement and, often enough, amusement. ![]() |

Actually, I think it's even simpler than that. And the balls, while interesting in their own right, are actually totally unnecessary. I'd wager that the larger the tires, the smaller the ... But jeez.... that's pretty obvious, no? Dan Last month I saw a tricked out yellow Hummer in the supermarket parking lot. It had a boat propeller on the back covering the trailer hitch and a big ass snorkel thing from the exhaust pipe. On the roof was a 1/16 scale model of the yellow Hummer complete with it's own propeller and snorkel. Weird. If that had another 1/64 scale Hummer in it's roof, well I think that would have made the whole thing completely over the top. -- Stan Gula http://gula.org/roffswaps |
