Phil went fishing with me today.

We started off catching a liar. First cast I caught a decent fish on a
Slug-Go out of the newly sprouting pads. That would be the last fish off
that pattern for the day, but it did cause us to spend a bit of time trying
to catch fish on soft jerkbaits and from the pads.

We ended up getting a bunch of 12" to 15" fish on hard jerkbaits. Maybe 20
of them between us.

We also got some good fish on jigs and soft plastics worked on bottom in 8
to 10 feet of water. Phil got the biggest one at 5-4 on a tube. My biggest
was on a jig & piggy back.

How about a surprise location (in CT). It'll have to be Sunday though. I've
got a family obligation on Saturday. Let me know.
