Hats to my fellow South Dakota Federation guy! No temper tantrums from
him. Joe Z.

Livewell malfunction

It wasn't as explosive and it wasn't Mike Iaconelli this time. During the
first day of competition at the Bassmaster Elite Series on Grand Lake, Jami
Fralick lost more than a pound of his weight because his livewell quit on
him halfway through the day.

"I'm really not sure what happened. I had Bassmedics in there, I was dumping
and filling, and had the cycle running. At about 12:30 I checked on all of
them and they were fine, then at 1:30 three were dead."

The dead fish forced Fralick to abandon his game plan because he couldn't
cull any of the fish that are now in fish Heaven. The penalty associated
with dead bass is four ounces for the first one, six ounces for the second,
and eight ounces for the third.

The loss of 1 pound, 2 ounces would have vaulted Fralick from the 15th place
position he sits in now, to the 9th place spot.

I apologize, I meant to say that with a smile, I wasn't intending to be
a dick, though , re-reading it as it was posted, seems that a dick was
what I was trying to be, but again, that wasn't the intention.

Chris,
I have read enough stuff on here not to jump to conclusions. No offense
taken Chris. Plus you always post good stuff and don't get personal. It was
definitely not the Big Show but this is his one shot to live the dream and I
am proud of the guy for taking it. I saw his dad in Cabelas last night and
he said Jami felt good about today. Let's all pull for him to make the cut.
Next year maybe it can be our guy Warren! Joe Z.

Thanks Joe, but I'm fishing FLW (not B.A.S.S.). the FLW Championship sounds
good.

BTW, tomorrow morning I'm going for my personal record 4 straight tourney
wins.

Wish me luck!

Best of luck to you today, my friend. Don't know where you're fishing but
weather is pretty crappy around here....
