Hope to pick up some new members, and we are having a naming contest.
Temporarily called "East Texas Angler", but I'd like something more
catchy. Win a rod/reel combo for the winning name. Come by and visit:
http://www.whatthewho.com/forum1

Keep if fun!

Cheers!
Rick

No, no! Not at all. Just wanted something that wasn't so broad. I
like TFF very well, but wanted to narrow down the region.

In that case I suppose you can try a regional forum, but to be honest if
your focus is fishing knowledge then I would just start soem strong fishin
report threads on the areas that interest you over at TFF. If nothing is
posted on your threads add comments yourself every time you go out.

Seems to me from your posts that my forum really bothers you. It's not
meant for anybody to be bothered. I'm not competing with TFF at all.
I mainly want people that I know or potentially will know to hopefully
join and have fun. It's way more narrowed down than TFF. TFF 'can'
seem to be very broad, but it does do a nice job at that. I don't
want to include salt water or anything most of us East Texas
fisher-people would never see out west. And I don't give a rip about
anything technical. It's just for fun. NO Competition intended. JUST
FUN )

Cheers!
Rick

Doesn't bother me in the least running a regional forum myself. Just
pointing out that before jumping into managing a forum you need to know what
your objective is.
