Default big bass lake

I know this lake where you really don't get much action on a continual
basis. The lake is known for another species. But when you do get
action it is usually a lunker. The biggest bass being caught on such a
lake. Why is this so.?
Thanks

You provided most of the answer yourself. It appears you are saying that not
many people fish this lake... so the bass have the opportunity to live a
long time. But also they are easier to catch if there is not a lot of
fishing pressure.

Older bass usually mean bigger bass. But it also has to do with the
condition of the lake and the amount of food it provides for the bass.

There is not a lot of people targeting bass on this lake. But I find I
either don't catch any bass or the ocasional big bass. I do not catch a
lot of medium size bass. Is this on account of there is not many bass
in the lake.

In your case I look to angler incompetence as the cause...
