George good luck on the Big Rock River. My friend just sent me a book called Rocky Mountain Backcountry by Rich Osthoff, even had him autograph it. I believe in the book he mentions the Big Rock River, rings a bell. We're planning to hike in 30 miles into one of the upper lakes in Montana for the Golden Trout. Would love to hear about trip after you get back. -tom
