Does anyone own one of these?

How is it still holding up?

I love the layout of this Fish N Ski.. I know winner is out of
business.

The hull is fiberglass.. Does the Transom have wood and is it rotting?

I am hoping to get my hands on one someday.

Thanks,
Jeff

The only wood in a late model winner was the deck. I ran one for
sseveral years in the late eighties -- not a fish-nski, just a single
console bass boat -- and it was a great boat. The company folded because
of management issues, not the quality of the boats.

I notice that Sprint Boats had the same Hull. Was Winner just Rebadged
for awhile?

Also..

Am I nutts for wanting an old boat froma defunct company?

I figure anything that could go wrong with the boat would be....

Hardware... Plumbing.. Electrical. Electronic.. Cables.. Engine..
This can all be aftermarket..

So the Deck has wood? Do you think on the Fish N Ski just the two
decks had wood and then the floor was fiberglass?

What was the transom made of on these late model?

Did Winner's Designer go anywhere after Winner? Maybe I would like his
new styles if they exist.

One last crazy question..

I am not a big time fisherman. I would do more joy riding, tubing,
whater then using it as a bass boat.. Am I nutts for wanting a Fish N
Ski?

Thanks Rich!!

No, you are not nuts. You know what you want. I would however suggest that
you look around. There are a number of really nice Fish N Ski boats out
there.

I have checked them all out.. Beautifull boats...

I have not found any set up like the Winner..

With the two bucket seats.. two regular behind the buckets. then two
pads up front..

Most of the Fish N Ski appear to have the two bench seats and a row of
three seats by the driver.

Hi,

I also saw a 1995 Ranger R77 Fish N Ski that I liked.

It is a 17.1.. Smaller then the Winner.. I still love that Winner
though..

This only has a 90Hp Engine.. How do you think that boat would perform
with a 90?

Rangers are pretty heavy I beleive..

Yes they are. What you have to do is look at the boat's horsepower rating
plate. You should never run a boat unless it's powered at a minimum of
within 20% of the rated maximum horsepower. Otherwise, you will be
disappointed in the performance of the boat.

I figured that... Bayliner appears to make it even though they are
garbage.

Still Ever see any Winners on the water?

As a matter of fact, I do. There are a couple of them I see around the
northeast every now and again. I always take notice of them, because I
liked mine so much.

The principal in Winner headed up the Nitro division of BPS for a year
or two some time after Winner went out, but I don't know what happened
to him after that.
