I changed from golf to fishing, i'm so new at it, I thought " wow you
need a really good swing to get over this lake." I live within 1 hour of great lakes and rivers here in the San Jaquin Valley. If I like it, I will obtain a fishing license. If I am caught, I'll tell them my license blew away and went downstream. This is my first fish story, so give me a break, |

One jsut happened on the 23rd. |

Also... they can always check your story by your Social Security or Drivers
License number. At least they can in Tennessee and Kentucky. "Brassy" wrote in message oups.com... It's far cheaper to just buy a license, and far more ethical too! In the past, I've had out of state guide clients say "I'm only fishing in this state today, I don't need a license." I say then "I'll just refund your money now because I'm not taking you out fishing without one!" -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Don't know about Wi, but in Az a guide can be held accoutnable as an accomplice if they knowingly assist a person in taking wildlife illegally. -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

The same applies here too. Which is another reason why I insist on following the rules and regulations. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

In some states, they keep your drivers license until you prove your story
about having a fishing license. Bill "Brassy" wrote in message oups.com... I changed from golf to fishing, i'm so new at it, I thought " wow you need a really good swing to get over this lake." If you show up in court with a license bought before the ticket, you can have the fine reduced to $25 for non display of a license. This state requires you to visably wear you license. If no license, lot of the judges will drop the charges if you purchase a lifetime license. Price depends on age. Mine at 62 was $300, sounds like you are in the $800 range. Fine is about the same. |
