Will be heading down to Priest Wed night through next Monday. Judy has
Seminars Thursday and Friday. Any chance of hooking up? Any info on what
the fish are doing there this time of year. Our first time down this late I
think . . . well as far as hauling the boat. Any info on Center Hill would
be good as well. Drop a note in email or post here. Thanks guys .

I haven't been on the lake since June, so I only know what I hear... that
you know how that is.

The lake is about a foot low right now, which is actually a little high for
this time of year. Maybe they're pulling it down slowly. I'd love to meet up
with you guys if I have a chance! Even if it's just for lunch or dinner. I
don't know if I'll be working this weekend or not, so I'll have to keep you
posted I guess.

Hey, Josh. Good to hear from you.

Fishing on J. Percy Priest is in transition toward the cool-water, top-water
bite, but we're not quite there yet.Buzzrbaits early or late and small
crankbaits throughout the day are a good bet now. The lake is still only a
foot below summer pool of 490 feet elevation, and they're not dropping it
much at this time, so there's not much current to speak of. Surface temp is
62 degrees, and it's 65 degrees at ten feet.

Our buddy Rick McFerrin of tennesseebassguides.com reports that he's seeing
some bass in the jumps back in the creeks feeding Center Hill Lake. Look for
pea-gravel banks. Lake level is holding steady at 631 (down 17 feet from
summer pool), and water temp is about 64 degrees now from the surface down
to 25 feet. TVA is running only one generator from 7 A.M. to 11 A.M.

I'd like to hook up with you. Call me at SWL-HQ: 615-469-5710.

Joe

Lake level could be dropping pretty fast, pretty soon. I heard on the news
this morning that there was a large leak in the dam!
