Trolling motor problems

I have a Motorguide trolling motor and just recently started having some
problems with the foot switch. It seems you have to push down harder and
harder on the switch to activate it. Has anyone else had this problem
with a Motorguide?

My Motorguide switch finally stopped working all together about a year ago.
It is very easy to replace and is not very expensive so I would say change
it out now before it quits in a tournament or at some other inopportune time
when you really need it.
