I was at the BASS Masters last Saturday and saw a display of the "THE
OXYGENATOR". Has anyone used "THE OXYGENATOR" and how did it work for you? "THE OXYGENATOR" wed site is www.keepfishalive.com . |

I have them in my Skeeter - have no idea if they work as claimed, but I have not had any problems with dead fish - they "seem" more active and alive after being in my livewell all day now, but have a good areation system on deep livewells in it. I don't know what they cost, but anything that does a better job of putting dissolved oxygen into the water is going to be a benefit, especially in areas where warm water temps are a problem. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Interesting conclusion. I'd like to know how you arrived at it.
Seems to me that fish, especially under stress, need special attention to keep healthy. Chemicals that relax the fish, restore slime coats, reduce infections are probably helpful. Keeping the temperature in the fish's comfort range is, too. Why wouldn't a device the keeps the oxygen content at optimum levels be helpful, too? Or are you implying that the device doesn't really raise the dissolved oxygen levels? Joe -------------------- "Dan" wrote in message ... Complete waste of money. |

Or maybe you're suggesting that any attempt to keep bass alive at all is a
waste of money and that livewells should just be filled with ice and termed "deadwells." ;-) Joe -------------------- "Dan" wrote in message ... Complete waste of money. |

Or maybe he thought the livewell was an aquarium and was driving the fish
around the neighborhood for weeks on end showing the kids what he caught. I could be wrong "Joe Haubenreich" wrote in message ...
