Default Fly studio

I have been intrigued for a while with the various "mini studios" that
people use, and also impressed at the beautiful results Hans
Weilenmann and a couple of others manage to obtain when shooting
flies.

However, I wanted something simple which works quickly, and I can use
in the vice, so I came up with this just this evening. It is not
finished of course, ( what is! =) ) but initial results are very
promising.

It is a white plastic aerosol cap, which I can simply clip under my
material spring. here are some photos of the thing itself. I cut out a
piece of blue foam to put in the base. If you dress larger flies, you
will of course need something larger, but the principle is the same.
It might be of interest to somebody who wants something simple and
quick;
