Cool stuff. That Scwartzenhopper looks like it might work on the
trouts too. Wasn't sure if I'd be doing much more bassing this year but they're talking about temps back into the 80s next week so I think I'll give these guys a work out. I'll post the results if'n I do. g.c. |

I got mine over the weekend, and I was mighty impressed. Excellent ties and they all look like they'll produce for "trash" fish. As for my ties: Good observation on the hopper, George. My flies are tied for the local native river bass (Guadalupe), and the fish are smaller, so the flies are too. In general, the fish act more like trout than bigmouth bass, and they live in water that more closely resembles trout water (http://uweb.txstate.edu/~cv01/pedernales03.jpg). Down here we've been fighting flooding most of the year, and I've only been out *once* since I got back from the mountains in May. But, the hopper did interest some Guads when I was out. I can't wait to go to this one particular pool I know of and toss your diver or Dan's "grizzly bear". Too bad the rest of youse missed out. Chuck Vance |

Glad they made it... I was starting to get a little worried. I figured by depositing them in the downtown Chicago post office, they had at least a 40% chance of making it..... Dan |
