New Delaware River Hatches Beaver Dubbing

I was in a fly shop Saturday and noticed a new dubbing made from beaver
for the Delaware River System Hatches. I purchased some and tied some
sulphurs, green drake duns, and apple caddis flies. It was a nice
smooth fine dubbing with no guard hairs. I saw that there were 20
colors available. I hope to try some of the other colors this next
weekend.

What is the name of the shop and where is it located?

Sounds like Delaware River Club (Al Caucci's place), if not I'd be
interested in knowing more.

I am way long on GD's in the box getting moldie, its like waiting for

where are you waiting for them?? Central PA gets them, pretty reliably, and
in huge numbers. My Drake imitations never seem to go unused, unless
something keeps me away from the streams for the end of May and early June.

The "no guard hairs" was the tip-off.

I fish the Upper Delaware System in the spring, its a 3 hour drive and I
try to pick my days carefully. But alas my timing when it is Drake time
is usually off by 24 hours ( should have been here yesterday , etc
etc)

Or Im on the west and they killed em on the East etc etc etc..

My unlucky hatch, I usually am there for 22 BWO's but arent we all.

Ralph- You should really venture out to Penn's for the drake hatch.
Talk to the local celebrity you know. He went to college at Bloomsbury
and has fished that hatch a bunch.
