When I first participated in ROFF more actively i was blasted by Tim J for
top posting
I quickly learned.
How come this same Tim J doesn't comment on the fool who refuses to post
his politcal crap as off topic
- Much less even on this list

I wonder why?

My border collie is smarter
But that is not for this list

I did not join ROFF for politics
I fish to avoid this stuff -Bush Cheney Hillary Obama McCain and American
politics does disgust me to no end

I does not belong on ROFF
The realities are, however, that with what ios happening to our planet - it
is unavaoidable not to discuss politics

But at least keep it OT

Fred you should really read the roff FAQ:

http://www.cs.nmsu.edu/~jcook/ROFF/

There really is nothing that would be considered off-topic on roff.
The theory is if you're on a fishing trip and you gather around
the fire at night with a friend or three and a beer or two you're
gonna talk about a lot of things. Anything you'd talk about around
that fire is fair game for roff. We like it that way. Once you notice
a particular thread has turned to something you don't want to read,
don't read it anymore. It really is that simple. The onus is on you
to read what you want and leave the rest, the onus is not on the rest
of us to discuss only what makes you comfortable.

As for rdean, he is one of the most contentious, argumentative and
profane arseholes I've ever met. And there's few folks on earth with
whom I'd rather share a campfire and a beer.

Then
I know that I will NOT be joining you

I will gladly meet you somewhere else and some other time.with many
others on this list
asadi Op Willi salobytes, JT, Larry , JR, daytripper - to name only a few -
They are cool
I would bring and pay for the scotch beer or whatever
I could even put up with His Mikeness fior a little bit
He does know some things
Not too long - though I would probably have to throw hin im in

At times I have walked to the other side of a street in the city I grew up
in - NYC
only to avoid toxic humans - amny times people I know.
I still do it.

I will choose to do the same here

What t does er um BWAHAHAHAHA mean?
Is er um a pickup line and then the chorus
It must be an African chant.

BTW

I am going to be the proud father of 1000 or so rainbow trout -soon.

Fred,

Let it go man....

Someone once compared ROFF to sitting around a camp fire or in a bar with a
bunch a guys... Most anything can and will be discussed, you will disagree
with some of the stuff that is mentioned and dislike some of the
participants. Would you go *off* as you have sitting around the camp fire? I
think not...

You go off on these political rants and then **** and moan about OT posts!?
Practice what you preach and you might earn some respect around the
campfire...

YMMV,
JT
