John told me that Jordan is more than carrying his own weight now..and
can't wait till he is old enough to fish against him!

Article by Kellen Ellis:

The Skeeter Boats and Aim Marine pro-staffers, John and Jordan Kerr won
the Anglers of the Year title for the season, capping off a dominate
season in NBW. They needed only a 19th place or better finish to secure
the title.

John's season has been as equally impressive as what Mike has done
lately. With one Angler of the Year title secured already, John is
leading in two more series. He is leading the race in the American Bass
Association with only one tournament remaining, and Jordan and him are
leading the Aim Marine Sunday Series standings with two tournaments
remaining. If John is able to hold on in those two series, it will be
the second season in a row that he has captured 3 of the 4 total major
team tournament titles in San Diego.*

Last year he won the WON Bass, Aim Marine Sunday Series, and American
Bass Association title.*

Probably the only thing keeping him from the "grand slam" is that he
"sat out" the first WON Bass event of the year, essentially elminating
himself from the Angler of the Year title with partner Mike Long. Prior
to this year, Mike Long and John Kerr had teamed up to win the last 6
WON Bass Angler of the Year titles.*

John,

That is some achievement! I'll bet you are very proud. Too bad there
is not a grandfather/grandson series! That would be a great topper!

Dan, I finally moved to Florida!

I can't say that I blame you for spreading the news. If it were my son and
grandson in the article, I'd be shouting it from the mountain tops.
Congratulations to you, John and Jordan.
