Default dropshot

I've been fishing a dropshot finesse worm alot this summer, and catching
some good fish. All the lakes I have fished so far have been clear, the
next three lakes are all stained. Does dropshots work well in stained
water? or is there a better technique. I love the dropshot.

There is a better technique, even in clear water :-)

If you get it in front of fish, it will catch them. I fish it in the
lower (very dirty water) section of Champlain all the time, and catch
the snot out of them on it.

I guess it depends on what you consider dirty water too. I probably
wouldn't consider it in post storm chocolate milk, but in anything else it
might be the right tool in the right place.
