Thanks, Mike. I actually came across that one last night (I have
stumble.com that directs me to all sorts of bizarre things) and tried
it for a bit. Never a fan of Super Mario Brothers, so this didn't
really take for me.

But here's one you might like:

Its a bit of a mind-bender, but a good intellectual challenge, of
sorts.

I donīt normally play any games at all on the computer, I only saw this
one because it was featured on the BBC news.

But also, thanks anyway

Mind you, I did try your "contraption" game, quite fascinating, and a
very interesting challenge. I got through most of the levels quite
quickly, but I had to think very very hard about a few of them.
Apparently I have very good intuition for such things.

I also agree with you that "jump and run" games are basically boring, as
they mainly depend on how you operate the keyboard, mouse, etc., and
have little to do with either intelligence or strategy.Indeed, juts pure
time wastere.

Personally I find a lot of real problems more fascinating, ( how to
catch fish under certain circumstances with certain restrictions, or
indeed how to cast, how to haul, etc etc ), but there is no deyning
the attraction ( and doubtless the addictive potential) of some games.
