BTW, part of that $140M would go for stream monitoring. We've lost
quite a few stream monitoring sites here in WI. The local USGS office,
that is in charge of the entire NE part of the state, is down to only
one person now. They used to have three working there.

Bobby Jindal should be a wake up call to reasonable Republicans as to
the depths to which the extremists and know-nothings have dragged that
political party. Instead, this snickering idiot is the party
spokesman, and the Rush's acolyte's of cracker heroin seriously gibber
and slobber over the prospect of he and/or Palin running for
President. How far will moderate Republicans go before they respond
constructively to this degradation?
