That's no runs on 3 hits, no walks and 9 !!, yes 9 !! strikeouts,
in 5 innings for John Smoltz in his debut wearing the Birds on Bat. The Cardinals GM ought to get on the phone and ask the Bostons if they have any other pitchers they want to put on waivers. LOL !! -- Ken Fortenberry

Just goes to show ya he can't pitch in the American League......They
say he was tipping his pitches so AL batters must be smarter than NL batters or we have coaches who are blind and didn't pick up on it.......
