Patriots de-Mann Colts, rob him for four picks, and head for Super Bowl for
the second time in three years. Awesome work - the score does not reflect how badly NE kicked Indy booty. If Fauria catches *either* of the perfectly thrown passes in the end zone this game would have been over by half time... Who is the next victim? Hell, we don't care! /daytripper ("Bring 'em on!" ;-) |

To keep this on roff topic: **** Clean and wash 500 gr. of fresh pig-skin, put it in a pot covering with salt water and boil. Drain it and let it cool, then cut in large slices (about 1 cm.). Put all in a pan with half glass of oil, salt, pepper and chopped herbs. Fry lightly on a medium flame. Pour two spoons of white wine, let it evaporate and add 300 gr. of tomatoes puree and a glass of broth (or hot water with ½ meat stock cube). Boil the slices of pig skin in the sauce on a medium flame for some minutes, pour 400 gr. of beans and mix carefully with a wooden spoon. To have more sauce, add the broth and boil for other 10 minutes. For a better flavour, serve in earthenware soup-plates. **** -- Charlie... |

Oh, Mr. 'Tripper,
Me fears the mighty Patriots may be done in by a severe case of "cat-scratch fever". Uncle Mac "daytripper" wrote in message ... Patriots ... head for Super Bowl for the second time in three years. |

Pats have the Coach of the Year. Pats have the Homeland Defense. Las Vegas agrees: early line favors Pats by 7. It's a Red, White and Blue Destiny! /daytripper ("Houston, we have no problem!" ;-) |

Yes but isn't that what the oddsmakers were saying about the Rams and
Eagles. Carolina was supposed to have NO hope of winning but look at who is the NFC Champion. It will be an interesting game. IIRC, the nearly-forgotten Rams were favored by 7 points, and had a 14-game winning streak at home. Too bad they wimped out at the end of the game. I'd love to see Carolina win, but I think it's too close to call. Bob |
