Looking for info on the current conditions for a few waters I plan to
visit soon, I ran into a fly shop website that opens with "Welcome to your next awesome fly fishing experience. Adventure, danger, romance, and a few large fish await you" Awesome? Danger? Romance? After that intro, why do I have a hard time believing the fishing report? are we fly fishers really silly enough that such hyperbole works on us? Larry L ( who has fished the river this shop serves and will admit that in hot weather there is a danger of being run over, as you wade, by drunks floating the river, .... maybe they are the source of the potential romance, too? ) |
