Default Fishing record/dairy

I was just wondering how many of you keep a dairy or record of your fishing?
When I started fishing at the age of 11 in 97 I began a record of where I
went who I went with and how many I caught. Now I still keep 1 even though I
don't go as much as I did then. Also nowadays I note down things such as
bait used, peg number, weather etc. Anyone else do this? I find it
fascinating looking back over my relatively short fishing career at what I
caught, I can even remember most trips just by looking at what I wrote!

Me also - a good way of seeing just how much my club water expeditions
really cost when compared to day tickets

Yeah I do but I can't manage a dairy at the same time. Only have the time
to jot things in my diary. ;-)

I started with a diary in 1992 when I started fishing, I have since
transferred all the dates in too a spread sheet including, weather, bait,
tactics, fish caught, the weights, methods, even water temperatures + peg
number and area of the swim I fished................Now if I am going
fishing I look it up in Excel, see what worked in the past for time of year
and species and use the information and get a great days fishing guaranteed.

Well worth the time and effort!
