I am and can`t wait to try out my new center pin. I`ve been feeding 5 swims
for the last 3 months once or twice a week on the river lea between Luton
and Batford. I`ts full of Chub 2-5lb, Barble 9lb+ and a few Carp up to 10lb.
Tight lines

I've heard there's good fishing along that stretch.
Is it a day ticket venue and does it get busy?

It`s private farm land about a 1 mile stretch with a few horses. I moved to
the aria last August and fish their once or twice a week and in all that
time i`ve seen 3 people fishing there. In the winter I was fishing there and
the farmer come by in a landrover to feed the horses and he just waved and
said nothing. I shouln`t be telling this really ;-)

Thanks for info, I'll have to have a look myself sometime. Living in Luton
it would be handy to have somewhere local to fish when I've only got a
couple of hours on my hands.
Al..
