Hi,

You might like to try here;

http://www.yorklakesidelodges.co.uk/

Not easy fishing, though the fish are there, frustratingly visible at
times.

Also v. convenient for York and the coast. if the family want to do
something different - Fish by night, tour by day :-)

Do the dogs really catch carp?
Moff to Todber Manor, Stourminster Newton, Dorset in about five minutes, it
has carp lakes, specimen lakes and match lakes. I'll let you know when I get
back.

Try here http://www.haveringlandhall.co.uk/frames.html
or here http://www.littlelakeland.co.uk/index.html

Both sites are in Norfolk. Fishing at Little Lakeland is free to, and
restricted to, site users. Waveney Valley caravan site with big carp (and
catfish) in their extensive waters is literally a minutes walk from the LL
site, but you have to pay at Waveney.

I must have imagined seeing holiday homes/caravans for hire and people
walking their dogs (at both sites).
http://www.haveringlandhall.co.uk/frames.html
We offer a small fleet of five fully equipped static caravans for hire as
follows
http://www.littlelakeland.co.uk/page3.html
Dogs welcome but must be kept on a lead
http://www.littlelakeland.co.uk/page2.html
We have one holiday home (new in 2004) which may be hired by the week,
Saturday to Saturday. The caravan is fully equipped, including shower,
toilet, fridge, T.V. and bedding, including duvets, pillows and covers.

I would use bread rather than dogs as bait but each to his own.
