striped bass ??
I have never "fished" for striped bass [ or hybrids ] but over the last
year or so I have caught several that were in the 2 lb area while fishing small spinnerbaits. Do you guys who fish for stripers use the same technique that you use for LM or are there different strategies and baits.The stripers where caught in the Ohio river Thanks Ken Blevins

The most popular method for fishing stripers in some lakes is to chase shad
boils. striped bass ??
All of my striped bass fishing has been limited to sal****er, wher live
lining bunker or herring is the preferred method. nothing like 10-20lb stripers smacking the fish with it's tail then coming back to inhale it, especially when they come in groups.. I recently heard of a trick for fishing a school of striper. Don't know if
it works or not, but basically if more than one line is out always keep one fish on the line. striped bass ??
My favorite striper bait (aside from an 8" rainbow trout) is a white
bucktail jig with a white or pearl colored trailer.Sometimes you can catch a real nice largemouth or spot mixed in with the stripers!
