Anyone fished this new bait from Zoom? The inside scoop is that it's the
hottest thing out there right now, in fact that's what Mr Rojas' "Kermit" actually was in the Classic. Just ordered me some... Warren |

![]() I thought these were around for a while. I saw some in the tackle shop up here(at least I( think that was them), they didn't seem new. I'll have to look again "go-bassn" wrote in message ... I'm trying real hard to picture that John...real hard. Are the trailers
attached top the main hook? Warren -- http://www.warrenwolk.com/ http://www.tri-statebassmasters.com 2004 NJ B.A.S.S. Federation State Champions "John Kerr" wrote in message ... Warren ===== Warren, the kid uses em, but he modifys them..bends the trailers out at a 90 degree angle (gives the lure a side to side motion), then rigs two trailer hooks through the inside and out the back legs...kind of a complicated proccess, using a needle and a special tag line that is tucked back inside, but very effective on his lakes! I'm not sure I should be saying this ![]() trick at a show out west...maybe Rojas was paying attention ![]() JK |

Are the trailers attached top the main hook? Warren ======= Yes Warren, they are attached to the main hook, then run out the back legs with about 3 inches of line, that line is then tucked back inside along with the shank of the hook. I know I'm not expaining it very well...the kid showed me how to do it, but I havn't done one yet myself. John ======= http://www.warrenwolk.com/ http://www.tri-statebassmasters.com 2004 NJ B.A.S.S. Anyone fished this new bait from Zoom
I have been playing with them some. Great topwater action when reeled steady like a buzz bait, can be twitched just under the surface like a Fluke and can be fished other ways too. The legs are made like Zoom's cut tail Speed worms and really move when reeled fast. (A few weeks ago I asked Alwaysfishking if he had tried them since he likes the Speed Worm so much - at least I think it was him.) The bass in my pond like them. The frog shown on ESPN that Rojas was using was a Sumo frog - had hair or rubber band legs, nothing like the Horny Toad with paddle tail legs.. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com |

![]() Yup that was me Rich, I just got some today and they look awesome in the water. You need to work them to keep them up if using a heavy hook. I like the way they swim with the jerk and pause. They cast a mile and there is no need to skin tuck them, the hook rides nicely in the slot on the back. Can't wait to use them(other than at the ramp for ten minutes in the cold) :-) "RGarri7470" wrote in message ... Anyone fished this new bait from Zoom I have been playing with them some.
