I'm off to fish Lake Harris in Florida this weekend and was wondering if
anybody can give this northern fisherman some advice. I would sure like to not look foolish to the southern folks. Lures, tactics, hexes I will take it all. Thanks, Chris |

Gambler craws in black/blue work well and 8-12 inch worms in Florida Junebug
and my favorite Red Shad. Cranks in the canal in silver/black back or red work well there. Z-spooks and torpedoes in clear and black have worked well for me here in the past. Carolina rig also works good here, I throw Lake Fork Ring Fries in Chartreuse and Pumpkin on a C-Rig. In the main lake I focus on the points with grass on them, start outside and work in until you find them. I am told most bass are coming from the grass edges from anglers flipping. I always have good luck fishing in the dead river, between Harris and Eustis. Run crankbaits in there and if there is overcast topwaters will probably produce. Don't be afraid to throw big ![]() never taken one over 10 from Harris, I have caught a few 7-8's there on big worms and z-spooks, and have heard of 12-13's from Harris. Hope this helps --- Chuck Coger http://www.fishin-pro.com "Chris Jones" wrote in message ...
