Pre spawn in november?

I've fished lake lanier in Georgia for about the last 8 years and
while the weather is different each year, I cant remember ever
catching spots in pre spawn mode in november. Today I caught 2 nice
spots right up on the bank in about 4 feet of water and they were full
of eggs. I dont think there will be time for them to spawn. It's kind
of funny to fish this pateren in november.
