I really don't know their financial situation. I don't know if he has
insurance or not, and if he does what is covered. I do know that the
American Red Cross has put them up in a hotel and got them some clothes,
personal products, etc. We have collected some money at work, but the reason
I ask for prayers for them is the mental trauma the family is going through.

Especially Tom, because of his illness and the fire. Emotionally he has to
be at the end of his rope, and his 15-year old daughter, because she was the
one that lit some candles that caused the fire. I'm sure she feels extremely
guilty even though it was an accident. I can only imagine how she feels,
because you know someone is bound to make a stupid comment to her that will
bore a hole through her soul. God give her the protection she needs from
such an assault and the ability to forgive herself.

Hi folks, a co-worker of mine is really having a BAD time. For the past

tears after getting the news of his house. His name is Tom Haliday, and
some of you Michigan guys might know him as well, but your prayers would go
a long way (for Tom, his wife and two kids).

Our thoughts are with Tom and his family. If we decide to get the paypal
thing going please also count me in.

Craig, are there any personal items Tom or his family needs, such as
some more clothes, etc? If so, let me know sizes, etc. Whatever they
could use right now my family would be glad to help with.

My prayers are with your friend.

A suggestion if you want to solicit donations or gifts for your friend: Set
it up through his bank, the local Red Cross, Lions Club, Etc. That way the
money will be distributed through a legitimate foundation and all those who
want to donate can feel secure that their money is truely going to someone
that needs it. Just a thought...

God Bless,
Mike
