Default First day fishing, no Bass, but oh brother!!!

I tried my luck at my seniors only lake (Long's Park Lancaster Pa. I
started out by catching 8 monster (for LP lake) Bullheads all of which
could have swallowed my fist.. Then the Koi came cruising by & my bit of
white plastic worm was beaten up by 50 or 60 of them. They're very
visible because of their color & don't have a great deal of stamina, but
they are greased lightening & either shock you by making a bonefish like
run or a very athletic leap. (one actually beached himself on the boat
landing where I fished from) Their average size was between 2 & 3 lbs.
My wrist began aching & my nephew (an envious fellow fisherman ****ed
off because he can't fish there) took me out for some A1 chinese
cuisine. Not a bad first day. Later on the Bass will be knocking at the
door. Good fishing luck to everyone & even better catching luck. Cheers,
Carl
