Default Playing catch-up

Hi all,

After 5 years engrossed in other hobbies and sports, I'm coming back to
fly fishing this year. Thinking about flies, line and tackle in
general, have any must-haves appeared on the market while I've been
away?

TIA
Nick

No.

The fish behave exactly as they have for the last few thousand years.
Your old tackle and methods will still work just as well as they ever did.

The only real difference on the tackle market is that there is now even more
of it that you don't need. Get a smaller bag, a smaller fly-box, carry
less, cause less disturbance on the bank and catch more.

Have fun. Cheerio,
