Hey everyone,
We just got a SeaHawk 500 ( http://www.qualityinflatables.com/68335.html ) and we want to get a Minn Kota Endura 30 ( http://www.minnkotamotors.com/produc...unt/endura.asp ) trolling motor to propel us to the middle of a small lake. We wont be using the trolling motor much (45mins-1 hour). How small a battery could we get? We want something small and light (cheap would be good too) Here are the motor specs: http://www.minnkotamotors.com/_docs/motor_specs.pdf Volts: 12V Max Amp Draw: 30 |

You will also need a 12vdc charger. The battery should be re-chared after each use. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |

From:
| Would you know what kind of specs i should look for? There are no real specs. Go to a boat or automotive location and ask for a Marine Deep Cycle 12vdc battery. Sears should have the batteries and the chargers. -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |

Do you think you can draw 30amps from a 1 amp battery ? -- Dave http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html http://www.ik-cs.com/got-a-virus.htm |

No matter where you go you're likely to find that a 12vdc battery with a
30amp rating is going to weigh in around 25lbs, give or take a pound or two. Go to your local discount store, buy one, put it in, get outside, and move on. This is tiring. ![]() wrote in message oups.com... Maybe I should repeat my question... How small a battery could we get? We want something small and light |

Okay... Da Chief... now we're on the right track.
So, you're saying a 12v- 30amp battery should meet our needs? |
