I'm going to be staying in Maine near Moosehead Lake in July and was
wondering if anyone had any experience or advice on fishing the lake or the surrounding region. Thanks! |

Two Kennebec River outlets on the west side of L. Moosehead. 2. West Branch Penobscot 20 or 30 miles north via gravel road: bad for flies, good for moose. 3. The Moose River between Brassua Lake and L. Moosehead used to offer the easiest fishing: but alteration of the dam pool 15 years ago has probably still wrecked the fishing. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |
