Well this life long project of making a display box for some flies has
completed it's first step. The smaller of the two, with 22 slots is done and I have posted some photos, such as they are, over (r.o).pictures. fishing. What I would like to do is thank everyone. Many fine folks sent me flies....probably to get me to quit bugging them. Those I didn't bug....well, your time is coming as the next box has forty-nine holes! It's pretty neat. At least for me. Twas just about longest project I have ever tried in terms of waiting for glue to dry and trying not to get in too big of a hurry. In any event, I am running it up to Columbus tomorrow as Tim Carter has offered to transport it to the Penns Clave for me...sigh...I 'will' be there next year - not withstanding the Men In Black. I would like to offer a special thanks to Roger who gave me some flies from Sweden at last years clave. Those flies being from the farthest away. Peter gets an honorary, not so much for the flies from Canada but he sent the streamers tucked inside a short section of a drinking straw, I had never seen that before and I thought I had been sent a couple of joints of that fine Canadian weed I have been reading so much about and I thought, Hey Peter, allriiiiiiight! Anyhow, the flies are all from people we know here, good friends, good men all. And they are from: California Canada Indiana Montana Pennsylvania Sweden Texas Virginia Washington Thanks fellows.... john |

What is it, 20 miles? However... Every time I watch Channel 7 news it takes me a month to work up the nerve to go into Dayton. Talk about sensationalizing the negative spin. What is with those people? Turn on a different news channel and you would think they were talking about a different city. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. Oh well they are all jackasses anyway... (sorry kind of got OT)...but even if it never made it........ But your home state man! The Buckeye State! You didn't list your own state? john "Allen Epps" wrote in message ... In article , "asadi" wrote: Well this life long project of making a display box for some flies has completed it's first step. Dang goat, I didn't have Ohio on my list 'cause how can a person forget
their own state? Maybe it's because I live in Ohio. I'm glad I have this group around to take care of me.... john "Goat" wrote in message news:TG%le.7714$qJ3.3883@trnddc05... asadi wrote: yup, can't read my own writing... Sorry bout that.
