You can even chum with 1 lb. can of mackerel*.( 1lb of C.M* to 2 cups
of veg. oil and 3 cups of sand. mix well in a 2 lb coffer can or plastic container). Use a old coffee measure to drop a scoop once every 2-3 min. The sand will take the chum to the bottom...fish the chum line. You can freeze the can full of chum and lower it into the water and the chum will go automatically as it melts.... use a fish finder rig that stays put so the fish can find your bait. Catch some bait fish out of the chum line and use those for bait.
