Judy and I spent July 4th weekend in Menominee, Mich. / Marinette Wisc.
where we fished the Menominee River, Ford River, Escanaba River and last but not least the secret river. Over the course of the weekend we caught about 50 fish, mostly smallies with a few largemouth, three northerns and one huge drum (6lbs) Judy caught. Most fish were caugh on Secret Weapon white skirted spinnerbaits, bass assassins and Kanami green and white senko type baits. And in keeping with this years pattern Judy caught big bass of the trip with a nice 5lb smallie caught out of a hole in a massive weed bed. Some pics posted on binaries fish etc. More to be posted later this week. Hope they were posted correctly. Hated to leave the northwoods. Hope all had a safe weekend. -- God Bless America Josh The Bad Bear |
