Yes it is. However, your test failed because you added binary attachments.
This is a text-only group. It is customary to post fishing related (and
fly photos are fishing related) photos to the group
alt.binaries.pictures.fishing and then post an announcement here saying
that's where you put the photos. Or post a link to the photo on a web site
somewhere. Many of the servers that carry rofft will not propogate messages
with attachments and there is always the risk that a server will stop
carrying the group if people start using it for large attachments.

Glad you are up and around and persnickety a bit. Good luck fishing when
you get out some more. Would enjoy flyfishing with you and Tim sometime, if
I had a translator for the "geek' stuff.

Honestly, we never talk shop when fishing. Mostly it's just the occasional
muted whoop when you get a fish on... the kind that makes sure your buddy
knows you're outfishing him. ;-)
