The Kid has a good start in the U.S. Open......
John is in the lead after day one....but a ton of good fishermen just a
tad off his lead. Arron Martins is just a pound out. Gary Dobins about a pound and half out. Rick Clunn is back a few pounds. Gary Klien didn't do much...but still a couple days left. Got my fingers crossed for the Kid to bring in a good bag tomorrow!!!!!!!! (Proud dad)!!!  John K

Reality is that there are 30 top "sticks with-in a pound or so. The Kid
takes all this in stride, and just enjoys being on the water, and in the hunt...but I "agonize" over it grin. John
