Is there a fund being set up for his wife and kids?

Actually, they will be well taken care of by insurance and survivor
benefits. She will move up here to be closer to his family. She is
now at Ft. Campbell, KY.

Thank you for asking.

Dave

David J. Babineau will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetary
on Wednesday, June 28. DJ, as he was known to his family and friends,
was killed in Iraq while serving with the 101st Screaming Eagles
Airborne Division. DJ died outright; his two friends were captured,
tortured and beheaded.

DJ is my nephew, a decent kid who was doing what he always wanted to
do - serve his country. He leaves a wife, Rondi, and three kids. DJ
grew up in Springfield, Ma and graduated from the Science/Tech
Highschool. We will travel to Arlington next week to honor DJ and do
our best to comfort and help his wife and family.

My sincere condolences. Life has a beginning , a middle and an end. It
is truely unfortunate that this young mans end was so near the
beginning. A prayer in his honor, sir. cheeses

Well, it took a while (hey, doesn't it always?) but you finally got
what you wanted. Of course, we all knew that you would, eventually.
It was inevitable. Nevertheless, it appears that congratulations are
in order. Congratulations.

You are the most evil person I have ever met, Lilliputian. Evil, pure
evil, is what you are. I can't get angry with you because you don't
deserve anger, you deserve pity. And pity you get.

My condolences to you & your family. Most of my nephews are still
ankle-biters; and I can't imagine losing one of them in that way.

Nice try. No corpses=no heroes. You got what you wanted. You will

about it.

What's interesting is that dim as some folks here are, there is no
reason to suppose that any of them are so abysmally stupid as to be
unable to deal with this simple equation......or it's implications.

There's only one person here so brutally and contemptibly
obnoxious as to take the death of another man's nephew as
an occasion to gloat.

You should read the rest of this thread (as well as numerous others
like it). Read carefully and you will discover that there are actually
many. The good news is that there are millions of us who are not
fooled. The bad news is that there are billions who are.

Wolfgang
who knows that large scale gloating is difficult (to say the least) in
the absence of public announcements.
