Dave,

Water conditions in the Bighorns are pretty bad. I've had a part
time job for the last 7 years checking flow in an irrigation ditch. The
ditch was shut down the end of June due to lack of water. (Because
others have superior water rights, our ditch is one of the first to get
shut down when water is scarce.) Snow on the mountains will be gone in
another month, I think. The high lakes in the wilderness are OK but you
can see the water levels are a bit lower by historic standards.

It's been too hot to fish anyway
