Just spent a beautiful 8 hours cruising in a junk around Hong Kong island
with a bunch of friends, having a beer or three and sharing a seafood feast
at a remote restaurant on the Kowloon side. The far side of 48 isn't looking
so bad. It was such a nice day that not even the lack of flyfishing
tarnished it one bit.

This was definately one of the best ones yet. :-)

Plans are beginning to formulate for a trip to Mongolia in the spring. SWMBO
is the class advisor to a charitible orgainization that will be going up
there for some service work, and they need a male chaperone to go along,
mostly to be there in the evenings. I'm seeing if there is a way I can
justify sneaking off for the daylight hours on a few days to provide some
independant stimulus of the local economy....

Sure beats how you might have been having that 48th (if ever) if you
stayed in the Congo. Happy birthday.

Often taunted by trout. Almost entirely harmless. Really.
