When Frank Reid moved from Maryland to Nebraska or some other God
forsaken state, all the vendors knew that the golden goose was gone so
they decided to folded up the tents. That's been my story and I am
sticking to it.

Well, the wiff says that MULTIPLE quilt shows have now folded also.

sentence!! Back to topic: several of the regional shows
run by one large organization have been curtailed. From
one vendor I spoke to, they were not real productive shows from the vendor's
standpoint, and ultimately, that is the determining factor.

Could be an interesting show! When a promoter charges three legs and an arm
for booth space it is not difficult for vendors to not have productive
shows.

Virginia was gorgeous until I had time to fish and now the temps haven't
been much above freezing. Possibility may might free up time wise. I'll
try to drag my kid out and up to Penns. Something about being a college
professor keeps him buried in research and book writing instead of enjoying
the important things in life!!
